Live music, food trucks, campus tours and interactive games will highlight Federation University’s open day this Sunday August 11.
The Gippsland campus event will feature hands-on sessions in nursing, allied health and science labs, along with family friendly activities such as a petting zoo and roaming entertainers.
The open day is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore everything that Federation University has to offer, from hundreds of courses including teaching, nursing and midwifery, to industry placement and extracurriculars.
Federation University Australia vice-chancellor and president Duncan Bentley said the day was a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to meet staff, academics, current students and industry partners to gain valuable knowledge to set them on the path of achieving their career dreams.
“We are excited to throw open our doors and showcase our beautiful campus and world-class regional facilities to the Gippsland community on what promises to be an exciting and informative day,” Professor Bentley said.
The Federation University Gippsland campus open day will take place between 9am and 2pm this Sunday August 11.
