Two burglaries have been reported at a Baw Baw Shire depot in Warragul in the past week.
Police said both targeted tools within the Normanby St depot.
They said the first burglary occurred on Tuesday, July 16 at 3.41am.
CCTV captured a male inside a storage shed for just two minutes. Doors and tool boxes were opened on four vehicles. It is alleged three Stihl 300S batteries were stolen.
Police were quickly on the scene but access doors were locked and nobody was located inside.
The male was described as wearing black gloves and jacket, navy jeans and tan coloured work boots.
Police said a second burglary occurred on Sunday at 5.30am.
It appears access to the depot was gained via a rear fence.
Police said the offender jimmied a door to enter a workshop and opened three tool boxes attached to vehicles.
It appeared power tools were the target.
