Water bill assistance on offer

Do you have questions about your Gippsland Water bill?
Local customers will be able to speak face-to-face with Gippsland Water staff at pop up sessions in Warragul and Drouin in the next fortnight.
Managing director Sarah Cumming said "it's often easier to talk to someone face-to-face", encouraging locals to visit the Warragul Palmerston St kiosk on Thursday, July 25 and at the Drouin Princes Way kiosk on Tuesday, July 30. Both pop ups will run from 10am to 2pm.
She said cost of living pressures were impacting many in the community and "there are many ways we can help".
"Our experienced and friendly team members will discuss your situation and work out which options best suit you," Ms Cumming said. "These include flexible payment plans, registering concessions, applying for government-funded assistance schemes, and referrals to financial councillors."
"They will also be available to answer general questions about our bills," she concluded.
