A forum to explore thoughts about what a regenerated Gippsland could look like will be held at Warragul later this month.
The session run by Regen Gippsland, a group looking into how to make the region a better place, will be at the Warragul Farmers' Market on Saturday, September 16.
One of three workshops to be held in Gippsland during the month it will focus on food and fibre industries.
The other workshops are considering tourism and affordable housing and new energy.
The organisation, that says it brings together 20 diverse groups to share ideas, says the workshops are the first steps in creating a roadmap report for Gippsland.
Members of the public are invited to be involved in the discussions at Warragul that will hear from thought leaders, discuss previous work, expose barriers and discover opportunities.
