Trafalgar win five straight in division one
Trafalgar second Mary Holdsworth bowls at Warragul last Tuesday. Mary's rink won 18/17.

Trafalgar had a convincing win over Traralgon RSL on Saturday to hold onto second place on the division one ladder.
It was the side's fifth straight win.
Division one: Trafalgar 16/91 defeated Traralgon RSL 2/58
Matt Schreyer (skip), Adam Proctor, Graeme Hill and Wayne Hurst won 32/13.
Congratulations to Matt's team on winning the "rink of the week" with their 19-shot victory.
William McIlwain (skip), Tim Fraser, Matthew Coutts and Terry Robertson lost 17/18.
Nathan Cook (skip), Wayne Arnold, Ken Capper and Billy Nesbet won 23/9.
Ian Miles (skip), David Cook, Paul Dawson and Kyen Jenkins won 19/18.
Division three: Trafalgar (2) 2/74 lost to Drouin (2) 16/95
Frank Farrugia (skip), Ian Riley, Alex Brodie and Anthony Dalgleish won 23/17.
The lead changed four times on this rink, with Frank's team down 13/17 on the 17th. However, a great comeback saw Frank win the last four ends for a six-shot win.
Bruce Giles (skip), Heather Taylor, Carol Fox and Sean Tatterson lost 15/28.
Bruce's rink kept with Drouin until the fifth end. Drouin got a six-end streak from which Trafalgar couldn't recover, going down by 13 shots.
Peter Jonas (skip), Russell Lavell, Tony Mitchinson and Col Carmichael lost 22/24.
Peter's rink played a great game, with the scores level on five occasions. On the 20th end, the scores were 22-all. Drouin pulled out a two on the last, handing Trafalgar a tough two-shot loss. However, it was a good effort.
Peter Rosenboom (skip), Peter Dart, Sue Robinson and Larry Heenan lost 14/26.
Peter's rink was no match for their Drouin counterparts. Despite winning the last four ends, Trafalgar had a 12-shot loss.
Division five: Trafalgar (3) 0/43 lost to Garfield (2) 16/97
Mal Clymo (skip), Ed Davies, Bill Lithgow and Paul Gridley lost 20/25.
Mal's rink led 8/3 on the sixth before dropping a six to give Garfield the lead. The score see-sawed until Trafalgar scored a five on the 16th to lead 19/15. Unfortunately, Garfield had all the answers over the last five ends. Trafalgar was outscored 1/10 to lose by five. After such a close game, it was disheartening.
Helen Robertson (skip), Derek Jones, Dennis McGrath and Tony Dawson lost 13/39.
Helen's rink struggled to put it together against some strong opposition, losing by 26 shots.
Peter Watson (skip), Marg Moss, Rob Connell and Kathy Geisler lost 10/33.
Peter's rink held Garfield at the start to be 6/8 on the ninth. This is where the wheels fell off Trafalgar's little red wagon. Garfield scored 24 shots to Trafalgar's four to hand them a 23-shot loss.
Division six: Trafalgar (4) 10/38 defeated Traralgon RSL/Yinnar 0/29
Congratulations to this Trafalgar team on making the top four.
Both rinks won tough battles against the Traralgon/Yinnar combination side.
Greg Sephton (skip), Travis Jenkins, Joanna Reekie and Lincoln Fraser won 16/12.
Greg's rink hit the lead on the 12th end to be 9/8 and finished off better in a four-shot victory.
Noel Moreland (skip), George Ward, Barney Asmussen and Bruce Males won 22/17.
Noel's rink had a great battle, with scores being equal on five ends. Trafalgar trailed 13/17 on the 18th but were not beaten, scoring a two, five and two on the last three ends for a five-shot win.
Midweek
Trafalgar had one win from three games on Tuesday.
Division one: Trafalgar 2/45 lost to Warragul 14/69
Heather Taylor (skip), Matt Schreyer, Peter Rosenboom and Carol Saunders lost 11/27.
Heather's rink was not in the hunt against Warragul, going down by 16 shots.
Sue Robinson (skip), Paul Dawson, Mary Holdsworth and Col Carmichael won 18/17.
Sue's rink got off to a slow start to be down 5/11 on the 11th. A five-end streak, including a five on the 13th, had Trafalgar up 17/11.
Warragul came back to level at 17-all on the 20th. However, Trafalgar held their nerve for a great one-shot victory.
Helen Robertson (skip), Ken Capper, David Wilson and Carol Fox lost 16/25.
After holding a three-shot lead on the sixth end, Helen's rink let Warragul back in the game with a 12-shot run over six ends. Despite being down 7/16, Trafalgar was able to match Warragul for the remainder to end with a nine-shot loss.
Division three: Trafalgar (2) 14/79 defeated Morwell (2) 2/47
Lyn Sephton (skip), Rob Matthews, Graeme Hill and Helen Brodie won 37/5.
Congratulations to Lyn's rink on "rink of the week" honours after a massive 32-shot win. Great effort.
Lyn Hill (skip), Peter Watson, Rob Connell and Gillian Creighton won 30/12.
After trailing early, Lyn's rink came back to be 15/7 on the 11th and was never headed, winning by 18 shots.
Margaret Moss (skip), Tony Mitchinson, Noel Moreland and Bev Webb lost 12/30.
For Marg's rink, it was not such a good day. They let Morwell get away to a good start and played catch up all day, losing by 18 shots.
Division four: Trafalgar (3) 0/20 lost to Yinnar (2) 10/68
Mandy Miles (skip), Ed Davies, George Ward and Kyen Jenkins lost 9/34.
Joanna Reekie (skip), Bill Lithgow, Rosalyn Blew and Bruce Males lost 11/34.
Both Mandy and Joanna's rinks had a hard day at the office up against a strong Yinnar combination,
