Division one: Trafalgar 4/76 lost to Drouin 14/81
Matt Schreyer (skip), Adam Proctor, Wayne Hurst and Col Carmichael lost 11/23.
Matt's rink stayed level with Drouin to the 13th end. However, Drouin then pulled away - scoring 12/2 - to win by 12 shots.
Tim Fraser (skip), William McIlwain, Frank Farrugia and David Wilson won 24/17.
Down 2/6 at the fifth, Tim's rink recovered and took control in a seven-shot win.
Ian Miles (skip), Paul Dawson, Peter Jonas and Kyen Jenkins won 26/16.
Ian's rink was down 8/16 on the 13th. However, an 18-0 run - including a five on the 15th - saw them register a 10-shot win.
Chris Bortignon (skip), Ken Capper, Tim Anderson and Peter Rosenboom lost 15/25.
Drouin proved too strong as Chris' rink lost by 10 shots.
Division three: Trafalgar (2) 2/68 lost to Yinnar 16/77
Bruce Giles (skip), Heather Taylor, Terry Robertson and Sean Tatterson won 27/6.
This great 21-shot win by Bruce's rink wasn't enough to save the day for Trafalgar.
Graham Hill (skip), Rob Matthews, Ian McCartney and Ed Davies lost 14/24.
Graham's rink was at six-all on the sixth. However, a six by Yinnar on the seventh turned the tide. Despite scoring six on the last three ends, Trafalgar went down by 10 shots.
Tony Mitchinson (skip), Sue Robinson, Danny Bryant and Billy Nisbet lost 15/23.
Tony's rink led right up to the 12th end. However, Yinnar picked up the pace to outdo Trafalgar - scoring 13 shots to two - for an eight-shot win.
Mal Clymo (skip), Peter Watson, Alex Brodie and Derek Jones lost 12/24.
Mal's rink struggled all day, losing by 12 shots.
Division five: Trafalgar (3) 2/57 lost to Traralgon (5) 14/58
This result was yet another one-shot loss for the club.
Daryl Horner (skip), Ian Riley, Tony Dawson and Lawrence Heenan lost 21/24.
Darryl's rink had a see-saw affair, with the lead changing five times. Unfortunately, Trafalgar lost by three shots.
Bill Lithgow (skip), George Ward, Anthony Dalgliesh and Greg Sephton won 20/17.
Bill's rink lead all day, fighting off a Traralgon comeback to win by three shots.
Helen Robertson, Peter Dart, Paul Gridley, Dennis McGrath lost 16/17.
Helen's rink had close game and were 16-all on the 20th end. Traralgon scored the one shot need to win the rink and the overall match.
Division six: Trafalgar (4) 10/59 defeated Thorpdale/Yarragon 0/26
Russ Lavell (skip), Mary Holdsworth, Rob Connell and Lincoln Fraser won 34/8.
Russ' rink were the "rink of the day" with a resounding 26-shot win.
Marg Moss (skip), Noel Moreland, Barney Asmussen and Bruce Males won 25/18.
Marg's rink were down 3/15 on the ninth end. With true grit, they outscored their opposition 22 shots to three over the last 12 ends for a comfortable eight-shot win.
Midweek
Rain affected two of the three games on Tuesday, with a win scored in the only match that played.
Division one: Trafalgar 13/56 defeated Morwell Club 3/49
Carol Saunders, Rob Connell, Peter Rosenboom, Heather Taylor (skip) lost 13/22.
Heather's rink led up to end four. From there, Morwell Club drew ahead for a nine-shot win.
Kath Geisler, David Wilson, Ken Capper and Helen Robertson (skip) won 24/8.
After a slow start, Helen's rink gained the lead on the eighth end and were never headed. They ran out comfortable 16-shot winners.
Col Carmichael, Mary Holdsworth, Paul Dawson and Sue Robinson (skip) drew 19/19.
Sue's rink drew in a game where the lead kept changing. Trafalgar won the final end to force the tie.
