It was a case of least said, soonest mended for Thorpdale after Saturday's games.
Thorpdale's division two side played away against top of the ladder Longwarry, meeting their fate with drama.
All teams went down ignominiously, with a 74-shot loss.
Division two: Thorpdale lost to Longwarry 50/124
Skip Ben Powell's team suffered the worst with a 31-shot loss, 8/39. Skip Brendan Jennings' team weren't far behind with a shot loss of 19 points, 11/30.
Faring slightly better was skip Ron "Bonnie" Mackie's team who went down by 15 points, 16/31.
Skip Danny "Vanda" Van Zuylen's gang of four managed a credible loss of only nine shots, 15/24.
Division six: Thorpdale/Yarragon lost to Moe (3) 24/54
Division six played away at noisy Moe on quick synthetic "green".
Although skip David Eves' team jumped off to a lead in the first two ends, they were soon overtaken by a superior team led by Moe skip Dave Griffiths. The game was frustratingly lost 9/30.
The Yarragon partner team led by Kelvin Jarvis fared better but conceded defeat 15/24.
