About 70 people supported Poowong's annual Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer held at Mya Mya Cafe recently.
Hostess Faye Loughridge welcomed guests for the double celebration event which coincided with lifelong Poowong East resident Margaret Monk's 97th birthday. Margaret is a regular at the cafe, attending every Wednesday.
The Mya Mya team prepared ribbon sandwiches, special cakes, flowers and balloons for the morning tea fundraiser.
An amazing total of $3090 was raised for the fight against cancer.
