A motorbike rider and his passenger were charged with drug offences after being intercepted by Warragul Police last week.
Police were travelling south along Hazel Drv when they saw a green motorbike ahead of them with a pillion passenger,
Police said as the motorbike approached the Queen St intersection, it performed a U-turn and travelled back towards police, giving way to police as it turned into the Bunnings complex car park.
When police activated emergency lights to signal to the motorbike to pull over, the rider dropped the motorbike, causing his passenger to fall off.
Police arrested the 31-year-old Noble Park man riding the motorbike for outstanding warrants, possession of drugs and driving while unlicensed.
The passenger, a 28-year-old Warragul woman, also was arrested. Police allege a search of the woman uncovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine.
The woman was charged with possession of drugs. She was taken to West Gippsland Hospital for observation.
