The West Gippsland Hospital is getting as new electrocardiogram (ECG) as a result of a generous donation by a Warragul business.
Director of Vin Rowe Farm Machinery, Graham Rowe, presented a cheque for $14,208 to the hospital to buy the critical piece of equipment.
It will be used as a first line treatment of patients that present with chest pain enabling detection of any irregularities in heart rhythms and potential causes of the pains.
WGH board chair Jo-Anne Moorfoot, chief executive Dan Weeks and deputy director of clinical operations Jacqui Meyers were on hand to express their thanks when Mr Rowe arrived at the hospital to hand over the donation.
