Circus skills on show
Before their recent performance of "Of the Land on Which we Meet" at the West Gippsland Arts Centre, Na Djinang Circus performers facilitated a series of workshops for local young people to enjoy.
Held at the Arts Centre and in Civic Park, the workshops involved blending sport with creativity and the expression of circus, learning how to tell stories through movement and turning ideas and emotions into acrobatic language, and blending hip hop and breakdancing techniques with circus by exploring the foundations of groove, footwork, and freestyle.
