Car stolen while victim sleeps

A car was stolen during an aggravated burglary in Drouin on Saturday morning.
Police said a house in Nickell Crt, Drouin was entered between 4am and 4.15am whilst the occupants were asleep.
It is believed offenders gained access via a door.
It is alleged the vehicle's keys and a purse were stolen from inside the house. The key was then used to steal the silver 2018 Toyota Camry parked in the driveway.
Police said the vehicle, with registration 1UN 8MC, has been linked to petrol thefts across Baw Baw Shire and the metropolitan area. The vehicle has not yet been recovered.
