St Paul's Anglican Grammar School year five student Sasha Reidy recently swam a competitive freestyle race at the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Regional Championships at Sale.
Sasha achieved first place in her race, qualifying her for the SSV State Swimming Championships.
To advance to the state level, students must qualify through school, district, division and regional stages.
21 students represented St Paul's at the regional competition; the 11 girls freestyle relay team (Sasha Reidy, Layla Proctor, Charlotte Sahhar and Eve Clough) came second while the 9/10 girls freestyle relay team (Zoe Kooloos, Maya McIntosh, Lucy Miklosvary and Harper Clough) finished third.
Students can experience a variety of co-curricular activities at St Paul's, like swimming, to see whether it is an activity they would be interested in pursuing further.
