Police investigate Drouin burglaries

Two vehicles were stolen during a burglary at a Drouin business last week.
Locks were cut off the gates to Harris Automation Engineering in Weerong Rd before offenders stole two vehicles from the yard on Wednesday night.
Police said a 2005 Ford Ranger utility with silver tray and a 2005 Holden Vectra sedan were stolen.
One of the vehicles was later used in a petrol drive-off at Cranbourne, while bank cards were used at various locations between Longwarry and Devon Meadows.
The Holden was recovered in Traralgon on Sunday. The utility has not been recovered.
In another incident, police are investigating a burglary at McColls Transport depot in Gould St, Drouin overnight on July 17.
Offenders gained access to the yard but police believe they may have been disturbed as items were moved but not stolen.
