Seven primary schools between Nar Nar Goon and Longwarry have benefited from grants organised by the Bunyip Community Op Shop last month.
More than $40,000 was distributed to the primary schools and local community organisations.
Students from Columba Catholic Primary School presented Bunyip Community Op Shop president, Tony Arrigo with a letter of appreciation.
In conjunction with the Bunyip IGA, the Op Shop has put aside funding for Christmas Hamper vouchers that will be distributed to families in need.
