TAFE Gippsland has been nationally recognised for excellence and performance at the annual Australian Training Awards.
It was awarded the silver medal in the Large Training Provider of the Year category for vocational providers with more than 500 students enrolled.
Earlier in the year it had been named Victoria's large Training Provider of the Year.
TAFE Gippsland chief executive officer Laura Macpherson said the awards were recognition of the range of training products and services it offered and its excellence and high-level performance in all aspects of vocational education and training.
It recognises nationally for the work done by many at TAFE Gippsland over the past six years, she said.
"As well as showcasing the team's work and achievements it was an acknowledgement of the commitment to partnering with industry and community, the level of student achievement and student and staff satisfaction".
Ms Macpherson said the awards provided staff with an added incentive to continue to work to achieve a vision of a skilled and thriving Gippsland.
