Local police have been kept busy with a number of vehicles evading police as they have attempted to intercept.
Police activated emergency lights to intercept a vehicle as it approached police with its lights on high in Mckindlay St, Drouin at 1am on Saturday morning.
Police said the driver of the white Mitsubishi Pajero flicked the lights on and off to distract police.
The vehicle sped off along Main South Rd, evading police. The vehicle had stolen registration plates.
Shortly after, police saw a Subaru Liberty with cancelled registration plates travelling along Princes Way, Drouin at 3am.
Police attempted to catch-up to the vehicle to intercept the driver.
The vehicle left the freeway at the Sand Rd exit and continued travelling south.
The vehicle failed to stop.
In another incident on Wednesday, police saw a silver BMW travelling in Wattle Way, Longwarry at about 1.46am.
Police attempted to intercept the vehicle but it sped away. The vehicle was last seen travelling towards Bunyip on the Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Rd.
At a similar time on Tuesday morning, police saw a stolen Kia Carnivale travelling east along the Princes Fwy at Darnum at 1.39am.
Police followed the vehicle before arresting a 15-year-old Noble Park youth in Moe.
He was charged with theft of a car and will appear at Childrens' Court.
