St Paul's Anglican Grammar School year 10 students recently considered possibilities for what their futures may hold when they attended a three-day Careers Conference at Phillip Island.
Students were informed about VCE processes, university options and pathways, personal development, and maintaining their wellbeing during their final school years.
A series of faculty presentations led students through the various VCE subjects available and a special career design workshop helped them to identify their skills, strengths and values to match against potential careers.
Teachers provided students with ample opportunity to manage their wellbeing with enjoyable activities such as a beach stroll, crate climb, rock wall challenge and an 80s-themed disco, which inspired some great dancing moves.
The Year 10 careers conference is a part of the careers program at St Paul's and is designed to be a memorable and essential foundation for the VCE years. Students are now well prepared to make excellent subject choices as they personalise their VCE experience and move into the senior secondary years.
