Motorbikes stolen in Trafalgar

Three motorbikes were reported stolen from a Trafalgar business last Thursday night.
Police said the burglary at Trafalgar Tyre Service occurred overnight between Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16.
CCTV showed four people attended the Contour Rd business in a light coloured vehicle with a trailer attached. The trailer, possibly a box trailer, had mesh on the side.
Police believe offenders cut the gate lock before opening a back shed to steal three motorbikes and five trolley jacks.
The motorbikes included a KTM 50 mockup with orange/red colouring and a black stripe; a Yamaha TT-R50 with blue colouring and a monster sticker on the fuel tank; and, a Honda CRF70 with red and white colouring.
In a separate incident, a quad bike was recently stolen from a Shady Creek property.
The theft was reported at the Yarragon-Shady Creek Rd property between Tuesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 15.
Police believe access was gained to the property via an unlocked side gate. The offender would have opened two more gates and travelled across paddocks to get to a shed where a black and white Yamaha quad bike was stored.
Police said the key to the quad bike was well hidden and required a detailed search of the shed.
Anyone with information about these motorbike thefts is asked to contact Warragul police on 5622 7111.
