A West Gippsland woman said she would clear her garden of weeds and her children's HECS debt after winning her $365,000 TattsLotto win on the weekend.
The woman held one of 14 division one winning entries in Saturday's draw.
Her winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website.
So far in 2024, there have been 11 division one winning entries in the Gippsland region that have collectively taken home more than $10.73 million in prize money.
The cheery mum said she was drifting off to sleep late Sunday night when she decided to check her lottery numbers, and the excitement kept her wide awake.
"I can't believe it," she laughed.
"I was about to head off to bed last night but thought I'd bring up my ticket and check the results. I started to see my numbers come up one by one. One number, two numbers…three numbers.
"I thought, 'Hmm! This can't be right. I had to double-check that I was seeing things correctly. I even called my daughter late last night to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
"I'm really pleased to see that the division one prize pool was shared amongst 14 people. A lot of people get the money!
"Thank you very much. I'll have to celebrate with my family sometime soon. I'm such a homebody, so I'll probably cook a nice dinner for everyone and have them all over."
When asked how she planned to enjoy her boost of $365,000, the big-hearted player had some small but mighty plans in mind.
"My husband and I would like to pay off our children's HECS debt completely and help them out," she said.
"We'd also like to pay off a gas bill and the credit card. I also can't wait to fix up our garden!
"They're all little things, but they add up quickly," she said.
