Face-to-face service in Warragul set to resume

Baw Baw Shire Council is set to re-open a customer service desk in Warragul by the end of September.
Mayor Annemarie McCabe flagged reinstatement of the service at a recent council meeting.
"I'm excited to say, having listened to our community, we will be reinstating our customer service desk in Warragul at the arts centre for those who prefer this one-on-one interaction and to make it easier for our local residents," Cr McCabe said.
Noting the many ways in which the community could engage with council, Cr McCabe said some people prefer going to an office and having "that one-on-one with a customer service representative".
She noted this option had "only been available at our Drouin office for some time now".
