The Warragul Croquet Club held its annual singles tournament on the weekend of May 3 and 4.
Sixteen competitors from all across the state descended on the local club to get a taste of some great croquet and great camaraderie.
The tournament was played in a round robin format in two sections with eight players in each section. The winner in section one was Mornington's John Carr while Sandringham's David Budge finished runner-up.
Maldon's Gary Dykes took out section two ahead of Drouin's Mick Crawford.
Tea was enjoyed on the Saturday night at the Warragul Country Club and the weekend concluded with a sausage sizzle and afternoon tea on the Sunday.
