Colour run raises funds
A day of Colour Run fun raised almost $16,500 at St Joseph's Primary School in Warragul.
The day, organised by the parents and friends committee, was a fun event aimed at raising money to upgrade the school's outdoor spaces.
The Colour Run saw students run an obstacle course on the school oval as volunteers sprayed them with colour and water. A bubble tent as well as a slip and slide near the finish line were highlights.
Students also enjoyed icy poles and popcorn.
The Warragul CFA and police officers were also on hand to join in the fun.
Labelling it an incredible day, the parents and friends committee reported the event raised $16,493.
They thanked the school staff and volunteers, together with generosity of the wider school community for making the day such a success.
