A BMW baring cloned registration plates evaded police after reaching alleged speeds of 190 km/hour through Drouin last Tuesday morning.
Police saw the BMW X7 in the Drouin McDonald's drive-thru and a registration plate check revealed the plates had been cloned from a vehicle that did not match the BMW.
Police attempted to intercept the vehicle just before 3am but it sped away at an alleged speed of 120 km/hour.
The vehicle sped away from police, through the town and then turning east onto Princes Way.
As the BMW continued eastbound past Drouin Primary School, police estimate the vehicle was travelling at 190 km/hour.
Security footage of the vehicle at McDonald's showed a male drive and female passenger.
