Marina Prior and David Hobson will visit the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Friday, July 21 for the "The 2 Of Us: Up Close and Personal" encore tour.
The tour is the last chance fans will have to see the show, which has been touring for four years.
"The 2 Of Us" boasts brand new songs, backstage and life stories, but also includes the classics from the pair's repertoire spanning 35 years.
Prior and Hobson will be accompanied by renowned pianist David Cameron and will perform classics from productions such as The Phantom of The Opera, Cats, 9 TO 5 The Musical, Evita, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and La Boheme, as well as favourites from their award-winning albums.
Prior and Hobson said the support they had received for the show was beyond their wildest dreams.
"It's great that we have the opportunity to take the show to the people, in areas around the country, that we may not have otherwise been able to get to with some of the bigger productions we perform in," Prior said.
Hobson is one of Australia's best-known operatic tenors and musical theatre performers. He has sung and performed many roles for Opera Australia, performed lead roles in musical theatre, sung for the Queen, featured at the AFL Grand Final, Carols by Candlelight, "Dancing with the Stars", "It Takes Two" and has been a presenter on Foxtel's arts channel.
Prior is regarded as one of Australia's leading ladies of musical theatre. She is best known for her lead role in The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, to name just two. She has also performed with international stars including Richard Harris and Jose Carreras. Well known for her Carols by Candlelight performance each year, she also recently appeared on the ABC TV series "The Divorce". In 2006, she was honoured with an induction into Australia's 100 Entertainers of the Century.
"The 2 Of Us" will appear at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Friday, July 21 at 8pm.
