Traffic stopped after semi-trailers collide
CFA volunteers and emergency services assist at the scene following a two truck collision on the Princes Hwy between Trafalgar and Yarragon yesterday morning.

A collision between two semi-trailers blocked the west bound lanes of the Princes Fwy for several hours yesterday morning.
Despite significant vehicle damage, Baw Baw Highway Patrol reported the high speed collision at about 6.45am resulted in only minor injuries to one driver. No other vehicles were involved.
Clearing of the two fully loaded semi-trailers proved a difficult task, significantly impacting traffic flow during a busy time on the road.
Police allege one semi-trailer fully loaded with empty pallets was turning left into a produce business near the Yarragon weighbridge when it was struck from behind by a second semi-trailer also carrying a full load.
The driver of the second truck received minor injuries, including a face injury, and was transported to hospital. The driver of the first truck was uninjured.
The freeway was blocked for several hours to clear the two trucks and debris.
Anyone with dash cam vision or who witnessed the events, including the lead up to the collision, is asked to contact senior constable James Carter of Baw Baw Highway Patrol on 5622 7111.
