The top two sides battled in an exciting A grade match at Warragul on Saturday.
However, it was the visiting Moe who got the win.

The Gulls knew this was going to be a hard game, with first playing second on the ladder.
After trailing by five goals at quarter time, the Gulls put in really good play through the second and third quarters.
Having drawn level at half-time and behind by just one goal at the last change, the side was positive.
Ultimately, some unforced errors let the girls down.

B grade: Warragul 49 lost to Moe 61
Warragul put up a good fight, but ultimately fell short.
The Gulls displayed remarkable competitiveness throughout three quarters of netball, with Moe taking away the win in the final quarter.
Notable performances from Kate Emerson and Mackenzi Minichiello, showing exceptional teamwork in the defensive ring, resulting in numerous turnovers for Warragul's attacking end to capitalise on. Additionally, Naomi Allardyce, Brooke Cahill and Ashlyn Gallasch showcased seamless teamwork, facilitating smooth transitions into the goaling ring.

C grade: Warragul 33 defeated Moe 32
The girls came in hungry for their first win on the weekend, and it showed.
Some beautiful passages of play all down the court saw the Gulls nudge their noses in front going into the last half.
A lull in the fourth quarter saw the girls having to fight from three goals down.
In a nail biting finish, Gulls goaler Sophie Fennell scored the game-winning goal after the siren. This game was a showcase of the Gulls potential heading into the back end of the season

17 and under: Warragul 22 lost to Moe 37
Moe won in a very good game of netball from both sides.
The Gulls are becoming more competitive. The determination to win is there, and they will come.

15 and under: Warragul 29 lost to Moe 44
This was another solid game from the Gulls.
It is exciting to watch new combinations in both the goals and defence.
The midcourt worked hard for four quarters, both attacking and defending. They created some great passages of play.

13 and under: Warragul 1 lost to Moe 51
This was a tough game for the girls, especially with Indi Kelton out with a knee injury.
Despite this, Charli Hodge and Bella Senini both played a consistent game and were the two award winners.
