Three-peat for Eagles

Ellinbank came out strongly at the start of this B grade grand final as they looked to make up for the club's C grade defeat.
Nilma Darnum had to work hard for every opportunity, as Ellinbank took a handy seven-goal lead into the first break, The score was 13-6.
Ellinbank missed a few shots early in the second while Nilma were able to peg the margin back with a few goals in a row. Ellinbank's consistent midcourt ball movement was great to watch as the Eagles extended their lead. At half time, the score was 22-13.
The third quarter was Nilma's best of the game, gaining possession with rebounds and intercepts. But, it still wasn't enough as their 11 goals were outdone by Ellinbank's 14.
The final quarter allowed Ellinbank to feel the rewards for all their efforts both throughout the season. Finishing with a big 16-goal quarter, young gun Remy Ferguson was a strong target for Ellinbank across the match.
In the end, the Eagles celebrated their third consecutive premiership with a 52-31 win.
