Three arrested, one man charged for CCG thefts

Three people have been arrested in relation to the theft of vehicles and other property from Community College Gippsland.
A number of items were stolen from CCG on last weekend, in a burglary characterised as "brazen" by the college's chief executive officer Dale Gemmell.
Police said offenders used bolt cutters to gain access to various sheds and gates on the property between midnight Saturday, June 17 and 2pm Sunday, June 18.
Police allege the offenders had spent a significant amount of time at the scene and likely made more than one trip transporting the property.
Keys were stolen from the premises and used to steal a white 2016 Renault Master bus and a white 2017 Isuzu DMax utility.
A 2014 silver box trailer also was stolen from the property.
On Friday police executed a search warrant at a property in Jamieson St, Warragul and recovered several items believed to have been removed from the campus, including power tools, a box of student records and beauty products, along with other items believed to have been stolen in other incidents.
Three men were arrested following the warrants.
A 49-year-old Warragul man was charged with burglary and theft. He was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on August 28.
