Two local schools will showcase the talent students have to offer this week.
On Thursday, Marist Sion College will present "The Show Must Go On", a performing arts gala and on Friday St Paul's Anglican Grammar School will present "Centerpiece 2023".
"The Show Must Go On" combines the drama, dance and musical talents of Marist Sion students, and arranges them into a story.
The show follows director "Henry Morrison", his production team and the cast, who are tasked with putting on a successful show.
Complete with disappearing leading ladies, money-hungry investors and emotional meltdowns the company works its way through a tumultuous show.
"Centrepiece 2023", by St Paul's will showcase young musicians and vocalists, as well as drama and dance.
Soloists will be featured, as will selected ensembles. The show also allows students to learn valuable backstage skills.
Both shows will kick off at 7pm on their respective evenings.
"The Show Must Go On" runs for three hours including an intermission.
Tickets are $15 for members, concession, youth and groups of 10 or more, and $20 for full price.
"Centerpiece 2023" will run for two hours including intermission.
Tickets are $25 full price, and $18 for concession and youth.
