Stolen property returned

Police believe a man suspected of aggravated burglary, may have later returned stolen items to the Warragul police station.
Police are investigating an incident at the Club Hotel in Queen St, Warragul on Thursday night.
After playing the pokies, police allege a man accessed the upstairs residential area and locked himself in a room at about 10pm.
Noticing the shut door, the victim told police they went to investigate. The man was reported to have fled through a window and onto the fire escape stairs where a short scuffle occurred.
Police searched the area after the man escaped over a roof and down a fire escape. The man was described as wearing dark clothing.
A man matching the description and wearing an identical brand black hoodie was later captured on CCTV at Warragul police station, where he allegedly placed the victim's mobile phone and wallet on the counter.
