Can Tigers defeat Panthers to keep finals dream alive in EDFNL?

Another week and another chance to keep the finals dream alive for Lang Lang.
Currently one win and percentage behind fifth-placed Ellinbank, an opportunity presents in round 14 for the Tigers to play catch up given the Eagles have the bye.
But it won't come easy, travelling away to take on a persistent Yarragon team looking to join the Tigers and Crows on six wins.
The Panthers have been big improvers this year. And while a finals appearance may be a bridge too far given their percentage, they will no doubt be keen to have a say in the make up of the five whilst finishing as high as possible.
Lang Lang know they simply must keep winning, and should be favoured to get the job done with plenty on the line.
Other matches should see the top teams further consolidate their positions.
A stunning run of form has seen Poowong burst into the top four and well and truly in contention to secure the double chance.
The Magpies were particularly impressive in the second half last week, and based on form, should comfortably account for Catani.
The Blues will aim for another competitive effort at home.
Having led for the first half last week before Nyora made a late run, the Blues have shown glimpses of form, but the Magpies should be too strong.
Trafalgar travel to Longwarry looking for another win to further consolidate second position on the ladder.
The Bloods survived a challenge from Ellinbank last week and shouldn't take the Crows lightly in what could be a danger game.
The Crows have scored good wins at home this year against top five sides in Ellinbank and Buln Buln, its younger players often showing a clean set of heels.
Buln Buln will host Nyora.
The Lyrebirds steadied last week with an important win at Lang Lang and should be favoured to back it up with consecutive wins.
The Saints have been building form as the season has progressed, and may trouble the Lyrebirds in patches. But home ground advantage puts it firmly in Buln Buln favour.
Neerim-Neerim South grew its percentage from 343 to 381 last week.
Could the already remarkable effort go beyond 400 this week when the Cats travel to take on Nilma-Darnum?
While the Cats should win and keep their unbeaten record intact, a good opportunity presents for the Bombers to see how much they have improved since the beginning of the season.
