Power tools stolen from cars

Power tools were amongst items stolen during a spate of thefts in Drouin on Thursday night.
Police reported three vehicles parked in residential streets were targeted.
A lock was forced to gain access to a back canopy on a Toyota Hilux parked in Bexley Blvd.

An AEG stacker, 20 hand tools, two red plastic jerry cans containing unleaded fuel and 10 AEG power tools were stolen.
The power tools included drills, framing guns, reciprocating saw, planer, hammer drill and angle grinder.
A tool kit also was stolen from the back of the utility cab.
Also in Bexley Blvd, a tackle box and green jerry can containing two-stroke fuel were stolen from the back canopy of a Ford Ranger parked on a nature strip.
Items inside the tackle box included a pocket knife, hooks and fishing reels.
A wallet and power tools were stolen from an unlocked Mitsubishi Triton utility in Rivendale Cres.
A Quicksilver leather wallet was stolen from inside the unlocked cab. A bank card was used at Shell in Warragul at 5.45am on Friday.
A variety of Milwaukee branded power tools was stolen from an unlocked fixed tool box.
These included a hammer drill, drill, impact driver, grinder, reciprocating saw and multi tool.
Most of the power tools had batteries attached with "LH" written on the bottom in black Texta.
In a separate incident, a ToolPRO-X toolbox was stolen from Supercheap Auto in Warragul on Monday, November 20.
Police allege a man placed the toolbox, valued at $300, inside his jacket before leaving the Burke St business without payment.
The man was described as in his 30s, medium build, unshaven and with short brown hair. He was barefoot and wearing blue Adidas shorts with a cream puffer jacket.
