No update on investigation

No update or comment has been offered on the investigation into allegations of former councillor Joe Gauci.
Resident Don McLean recently asked for an investigation update and asked if council would release its findings.
"The investigations are ongoing. No further comment will be made," was the answer provided to both questions.
Mr Gauci shocked colleagues when he resigned in late April amid allegations of bias and unfair treatment to his family.
Councillors approved up to $100,000 being spent, with two independent investigators appointed.
Mr McLean also questioned when the community could provide input into a policy recognising dates and occasions of significance, passed at the September 13 council meeting.
He was told community consultation would not be invited until after a draft policy was tabled.
