The Neerim District Bowls Club recently had their male and female champions compete in the Strzelecki North Champion of Champions singles competition.
Men's champion Trevor Kuhnell won his first match but unfortunately was beaten in his second round.
Trevor played excellent bowls but his opponent played a little better.
In the women's event Neerim District champion Pat Fraser-Aurisch won the region championship 21 to 16 shots against Kirsty Van Den Hoof from Traralgon.
It was an exceptional performance by Pat, who is no stranger to the standard of performance required in these events.
Her next match will be against the Strzelecki South champion.
The club congratulated both players, and wished Pat the best in her next match.
