A pride of about 200 Lions will gather at Warragul next weekend.
They'll get together at Logan Park for the 47th annual convention of Lions District 2013V3 from Friday through to Sunday.
The seven Lions clubs located in Baw Baw Shire - Longwarry, Drouin, Warragul, Yarragon, Trafalgar, Neerim and Willow Grove - are jointly hosting the convention.
The Exhibition Hall will host a display of Lions Club activities that will be open to the public to show projects its fundraising activities support and that members do much more than cook and sell sausages at Bunnings stores.
The Oaks function centre will be the venue for the business sessions of the convention.
There are 65 Lions Clubs in District 201V3, which covers the Gippsland area extending from Frankston to Mallacoota and is one of five districts in Victoria.
It is expected more than 200 people will visit Warragul throughout the weekend specifically for the convention.
