Drouin backman Jordan Kingi has won his side's best and fairest count, the Ablett medal, in his final year as senior coach.
In a tough year on the field for the club, Kingi was a standout for his side, often playing an undersized intercepting role with aplomb and using his elite kicking skills to great effect.
Despite stepping down from the senior coaching role to make way for incoming coach Brent Clinnick, Kingi will remain with the club in a playing capacity, while also as an assistant coach.
The final results from the best and fairest are as follows:
1st: Jordan Kingi
2nd: Timothy Hancock
3rd: Jarrod Marshall
4th: Kye Quirk
5th: Harry Wans
