Local Myli Library branches will participate in the annual Get Online Week from October 16 to 22.

My Community Library (Myli) is participating in the annual Get Online Week (GOLW) campaign for the fourth consecutive year.
Get Online Week is an initiative organised by Good Things Foundation, aimed at bridging the digital divide, particularly among people aged 50 and above.

The campaign seeks to empower everyone with the skills and knowledge needed to participate safely in the online world.
Get Online Week is held from October 16 to 22 and provides an excellent opportunity for Myli patrons to receive assistance and support in getting online.
Myli Library branches actively participating in GOLW this year include Warragul, Emerald, Inverloch, Korumburra, Leongatha, Mirboo North, Pakenham, and Wonthaggi.
During this week, Myli Libraries will bolster its staffing levels to ensure patrons receive the guidance and assistance they need to navigate the digital landscape. Whether it's learning how to use a computer, accessing online resources, or simply getting more comfortable with technology, Myli Libraries will be there to help.
Myli chief executive officer Leanne Williams said they were thrilled to be a part of the initiative.
"For some of our branches, GOLW has become an annual tradition, while for others, it's their first time participating. Regardless, our commitment to helping people with their tech questions remains unwavering," she said.
In addition to increased staffing levels, Myli Library branches will host various events and activities throughout Get Online Week.
For more information about Get Online Week activities and schedules at Myli, visit or phone your local library branch, or phone 1800 44 6954, or visit the events page myli.au/GOLW2023
