Hawks face league's best on the netball courts
Looking for a new angle out of defence against Moe in A grade is Drouin wing defence Lucy McKellar.

Clashes between two of the leading premiership contenders in A and B grades highlighted netball at Drouin in wet conditions on Saturday.
Unfortunately for Drouin, it lowered its colours in both games against Moe.
However, in A grade and despite its loss, the Hawks retain second place behind Moe, while the B grade result did not cost it top spot and Moe remains third.
A grade: Drouin 42 lost to Moe 54
It was a repeat of the preceding B grade game in A grade as Drouin allowed Moe a 7-1 lead in the first quarter.
Despite the early deficit the Hawks stayed calm and worked into the game.
The defence created multiple opportunities with its mid court pressure to slow the feed into their goaling circle.
The Hawks were able to narrow the gap to three goals before Moe, who were more consistent on the day, were able to steady and draw away.
However, the contest set a good stage for a possible rematch in the approaching finals.
Drouin's player award went to Ebony Mumford.
B grade: Drouin 45 lost to Moe 53
It was a slow start for the Hawks which gave Moe a head start in the first quarter, but the team rallied to play a great second quarter.
It built pressure as a unit with one-on-one defence enabling turnovers and conversions after working the ball to the circle edge in attack.
In the end Moe was stronger across the course of the match but the Hawks are looking forward to a possible rematch in finals, hopefully under some sunshine.
Awards: Brooke De Riter and Ruby Pratt.
C grade: Drouin 43 defeated Moe 25
The Hawks retained their top position on the ladder with an awesome team performance and the most consistent four quarters of netball they've played in recent weeks.
It appeared the team had finally adjusted to playing in wet weather and taking the game on.
In attack, it was steady and hard work with a focus on making smart decisions with the ball in hand.
Emily Bethune's feeds were on point and her second phase attack was great.
Defensively, Drouin worked together as a unit, allowing Grace Henderson in goalkeeper to fly at the ball. Her rebounding was outstanding and crucial to the great win.
Awards: Grace Henderson and Emily Bethune.
17 and under: Drouin 48 defeated Moe 38
It was a good win for Drouin set up by a dominant first three three quarters.
The game was fast-paced through the midcourt with Hawks Tilly Cunningham and Jaz Gallasch both working hard to get the ball moving forward.
Plays the team has worked hard on paid off, with the ball moving down the court seamlessly.
Awards: Tilly Cunningham and Jaz Gallasch.
15 and under: Drouin 31 lost to Moe 33
It was another good game by the Hawks but not quite enough to get the premiership points although they still remain in the top five.
Moe started strongly and led for the majority of the game although a determined Drouin fought back and hit the lead in the last quarter before Moe rallied in the last two minutes to claim the win.
In the last two minutes Moe were able to regain their lead and take the win. The Hawks should be proud of their four quarter effort.
Awards: Sophie Cassidy and Evie Piner.
13 and under: Drouin 18 lost to Moe 44
Finals-bound Moe were a bit too strong across the court for a Drouin team that took a relaxed and calm approach to generate energy for the contest.
The young girls pushed hard to win loose balls, stuck one-on-one to their opponents and drove forward on an angle.
Although Moe got up, the girls kept pushing.
Awards: Annabel Stephens, Karli Mapleson and Pia Pask.
