A random survey of Gippsland Water customers is underway and those contacted are urged to devote a few minutes to complete it.
More than 2000 customers will be contacted by email and other customers are encouraged to provide feedback through Gippsland Water's website by the end of this month.
The annual customer satisfaction survey will close early in November.
Managing director Sarah Cumming asked water and sewerage customers from service areas to be as honest as possible.
"The survey is one of the most important ways we identify whether customer expectations are being met, how we can learn from them and how we improved our services, she said.
