Expo for young families

Young families are invited to the "Paint Baw Baw REaD Expo" on Saturday to discover kid-friendly activities and services on offer in Baw Baw Shire.
The early years expo will be held in the Fountain Room of the West Gippsland Arts Centre from 9am to 2pm.
The free and not-for-profit event is set to feature a story session, school choir performance, dance performances, a reptile encounter show and interactive performing arts fun.
In addition, face painting, gymnastics and pop-up playgroup activities will be enjoyed.
The event is designed to connect and support local businesses, organisations and services that cater for the needs of young children and their families.
Up to 40 stalls will showcase a range of products and services to help families make informed choices.
These may include playgroups; physical activity and education groups; creative arts; performing arts; education and literacy; paediatric health services; and, other groups with an early years focus.
Designed to connect the community, the first Paint Baw Baw REaD Expo was held in 2022 to great success. Last year's expo attracted more than 700 people.
