The Baw Baw Arts Alliance will open its "Easter Art Sale" exhibition from Saturday, providing the perfect opportunity to purchase original artworks and take them off the wall immediately
All artworks will have been created in the last two years and have not been shown in a previous Easter sale.
The "Easter Arts Sale" runs over Easter, Saturday, April 8 to Sunday, April 16, at the Warragul Exhibition Hall.
On Sunday, April, 16, Gippsland artist and Bbaa member Cheryl Cook will officially open a new exhibition at the Edward Hunter Reserve, Moe.
Cook has been working on the commissioned exhibition pieces for the last six months with the Edward Hunter Bush Reserve Management team.
The intention of the exhibition is to demonstrate the rich connection art and can with nature.
She has worked to create art pieces using textiles painted with colour that has been extracted from native vegetation in the reserve. Each work is displayed in a particular location with careful consideration for the inhabitants of the bushland.
The exhibition's official opening will be at 3pm near the rotunda at Edward Hunter Reserve, Moe.
