Council to meet at Erica hall

Erica will host the next Baw Baw Shire council meeting on Wednesday, October 25.
The move from its regular Warragul location to Erica Memorial Hall will open access to residents in Erica as well as Rawson, Walhalla and surrounding districts.
The meeting will be held at the hall on School Rd at the usual 5.30pm time.
It is the first council meeting to be held outside the Fountain Room at the West Gippsland Arts Centre this year.
Due to the venue change, a report stemming from a residents' petition regardining Waterside Drv, Drouin will be deferred.
Chief executive officer Mark Dupe said the Erica location could impede Drouin petitioners attending and participating in the meeting.
Councillors unanimously supported the deferral to Wednesday, November 8, with Cr Michael Leaney calling it a pragmatic decision.
