$70,000 trailer, tools theft in Trafalgar

A trailer containing building tools and equipment was recently stolen from a construction site in Trafalgar.
Police said the trailer was valued at $20,000 and tools and equipment at $70,000.
They allege the theft occurred at Encore Living in Flagship Drv between Friday, May 31 and Monday, June 3.
It is believed offenders entered the community centre building to turn off the external lights before they drilled the lock off a tow ball and stole the trailer.
The trailer was located in Yarragon on Tuesday, June 4. However, the tools and equipment were removed.
Police are seeking a white utility, possibly a Ford Ranger king cab, with a distinctive red stripe along the side.
