The Yarragon community raised more than $45,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital in its annual Good Friday Appeal.
In its 10th year, organisers raised the funds via a monster raffle, door knocking and Easter Treasure Hunt.
The efforts resulted in a grand total of $45,034.85 raised and Yarragon surpassing all other West Gippsland towns to sit 26th on the regional tally board.
Whilst slightly down on totals exceeding $50,000 from 2021 to 2023, organisers reported almost $326,000 has now been raised in 10 years of fundraising for the Royal Children's Hospital.
Many young faces, families and groups stepped up to get tins rattling with door knocking across the town in the lead up to Good Friday.
And, more than 140 hunters joined the annual Easter Treasure Hunt in the park on Good Friday.
At Glen Cromie Reserve Caravan Park in Drouin West, a raffle raised $2175.
Organisers Mary and Mark Shattock said the raffle had been held annually for four years and "each year it gets better and better".
Overall, the Good Friday Appeal raised $23.3 million for the Royal Children's Hospital, with $5.2 million from regional Victoria.
In addition to Yarragon, the regional tally board showed Warragul raised $33,950, Trafalgar $18,148 and Bunyip $10,624.
