Plenty of wind did little to deter Thorpdale's top team last Saturday as they claimed a strong win.
Division two: Thorpdale 16/94 defeated Traralgon RSL (2) 2/76.

Holding on to their hats at Traralgon RSL, Thorpdale's division two went on to a three-rink 96/74, 18-shot win on Saturday.
Skip Ben Powell's team had the best win of the day with a 25/12 finish and found it amusing to see team member Shane "Chum" Chambers' normally quite biased bowls going almost straight in the wind.
Skip Brendan Jennings' team came away with a good 27/19 win as did Skip Danny "Vanda" Van Zuylen's team with a 22/20 win.
The only downcast crew were skip Ron "Bonnie" Mackie's team who, although doing well during the day, lost the match at 20/25.
Division six: Thorpdale/Yarragon 0/31 lost to Traralgon (6) 10/56.
Thanking their lucky stars that they were playing inside at Traralgon, the Thorpdale/Yarragon team didn't fare so well although skip Darron "Pol" Fraser's team started out at a cracking pace, scoring 12 points before the Traralgon team even got on the scoreboard.
However, Traralgon got their second wind and clawed back the lead to finish the game 17/22.
Skip Kel Jarvis' team weren't on their previous week's best but managed a 14/34 finish, giving Traralgon the final match win of 31/56.
