Mooroolbark were quick to equalise, and a 1-1 scoreline was taken into the half-time break.The second half saw both teams step up their game and dig deep. United's defence raised the bar and a late red card to Mooroolbark saw them down to 10.
United were quick to capitalise and put the ball in the back of the net twice more to be up 3-1.
Mooroolbark scored two very late long-range goals to level up the scoreline.
However, with minutes to spare, the United women showed their "never die attitude" and were rewarded for their efforts, putting the ball in the back of the net to take all three points.
