Junior school students at St Paul's Anglican Grammar School curled up with a good book in their colourful PJs to celebrate a day of "Australia Reads" recently.
The atmosphere of literacy all around set the tone for a joyful and fun-filled day of sharing stories, creating their own mini-books, crafting their own "potato people" and other art and literacy-art related activities centred on their favourite books.
St Paul's educators said instilling an early love of reading in their students is an essential foundational skill for their learning journey, and educators themselves were perfectly content to wear their pyjamas to school as well.
