Shed fire

A shed was destroyed in a non-suspicious fire in Stoddarts Rd, Warragul on Sunday morning.
Police reported the fire impacted three properties, with the shed destroyed as well as a bungalow damaged on an adjacent property.
It is alleged a fire pit had been cleaned out and the ash tipped onto a garden bed. It is believed embers smouldered in the garden bed for several days before igniting the shed on Sunday at about 5.30am.
In a separate incident, a boundary fence was destroyed in a non-suspicious fire in Davey Drv, Trafalgar on Monday, March 25.
It is believed the fire started during the afternoon in a small area near a garden bed and shed, resulting in the boundary fence being burnt.
Police said nobody was hurt in either incident but both highlighted the importance of ensuring all fires are completely extinguished.
