A challenging obstacle course around Drouin’s Civic Park was the scene for 4000 budding spartans when Spartan Kids delivered its school holiday event on Thursday and Friday.
The event attracted 2000 competitors each day, with junior races for three to eight-year-olds and an older race for nine to 13-year-olds.
Spartan Kids races encourage young spartans to conquer their goals while having muddy fun in a non-competitive, safe and supportive environment.
The young spartans had the chance to run, balance, walk, crawl and climb through the fun-filled obstacle course that helped them to understand what it is like to be a spartan.
